SweetBamboo sell 500ml thermos bottles and 420ml travel coffee cups which are wrapped in sustainably sourced bamboo.
The business is located in Cornwall and was founded in 2020 by a graduate Environmental Scientist from the University of Plymouth. George, the founder of Sweet Bamboo has a vision to increase public awareness on water sustainability and reducing single use plastic.

Coffee generation
Currently in the UK we use 7 million disposable coffee cups everyday - that’s 2.5 billion every year! Unfortunately due to the way in which they are produced less than 1% of coffee cups are recycled, the other 99% will either go to landfill here in the UK or shipped across the world where they could eventually be dumped into the ocean.
